In short

Elonation is a free browser extension for faceit.com and this website. There are no ads, no analytics and no sale of data. The extension works inside your browser. By default it sends nothing about you to us. The only things that ever leave your browser are described below, and the ones tied to you are off until you turn them on.

Elonation is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by FACEIT.

What the extension does on faceit.com

What reaches our server

About twice an hour the extension downloads a small configuration file from elonation.net: page selectors, the map of FACEIT endpoints, level thresholds, the map pool and rate limits. This is how a broken layout gets fixed without a new release. The request carries no identifier and no account data.

Like any web request it reveals your IP address to our server and to Cloudflare, which sits in front of it. Access logs with IP address, time and requested URL are kept for security and troubleshooting for no longer than 30 days.

Optional features

Each of these is off until you switch it on, and each can be switched off again at any time.

What we never do

Retention and deletion

Third parties

Your rights

Where you have an account with us, you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, export it or delete it, and you can object to processing. The simplest way is the account section of the extension settings. If you are in the European Union, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Legal basis: your consent for the optional features; our legitimate interest in keeping the extension working and secure for the configuration download and access logs. Elonation is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

When this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. If a change affects what we collect, the extension tells you before anything new is sent.
